Day 9

On day 9, we explored the area around the Palace Embankment. We then took a private tour of the Hermitage with Elena Shishkova, chief conservator of the Hermitage's Asian museum. After seeing the Hermitage, we walked across the Neva river to see the Battleship Aurora. Later in the evening, we took a canal and river cruise.
