‘Tis that time of year again…Peter’s Birthday.
Here’s to many, many more!
Catherine would like to tell the world how great her dad is. She’s a bit frustrated that she can’t type yet, so she is allowing me to pass along her message.
She says that her dad is awesome. He changes her diapers without complaining and always has a little song to sing in the process. He loves her so much and never misses a chance to cuddle.
Catherine loves that her dad is such a quick study when it comes to ‘daddy-hood’. Three weeks into his new job and he’s already a pro! And he thinks that pink is cute, too.
Happy Father’s day to the best new dad that we know! Keep up the good work!
Love, Catherine and her Momma
Happy Two Week Birthday, Catherine!
Yesterday, Catherine passed her car seat test!
In infants with certain respiratory and other problems, doctors will often request that they take a ‘car seat test’. This simply involves placing the child in a car seat while they are still hooked up to their vital sign monitors. They remain in the car seat for two hours, and their vitals are monitored for the duration. If they don’t have any serious drops in their vital signs, they pass! Catherine passed with flying colors, so that is great news! She is one step closer to coming home. The doctors have still not given her the official okay to head home, but the rumor we have heard is that it could be this weekend, possibly Saturday. So keep your fingers crossed!
Also last night, we let the folks at the hospital take care of Catherine, and we went out to dinner with Becky’s family to celebrate Dianne’s birthday!
We had dinner at [Vinny T’s](http://www.vinnytsofboston.com/). We wish that Catherine could have come along, but she will be able to soon enough!

The season of many birthdays, anniversaries, and other events!
First up, we have Grandma and Grandpa Wood’s 38th Anniversary today:
Happy Anniversary! We were so happy to have you with us the weekend that Catherine was born, and we’re looking forward to having you come up and visit her again!
Next, we have two birthdays: Gramma Dianne and Great Uncle Tom!

Happy Birthday to you! Great Uncle Tom hasn’t met Catherine yet, but I’m sure he will love her!
Happy Mother’s Day to the two moms and one soon to be mom in my life: Ellie, Dianne, and Becky!
This morning I was paged for work and had to run in to the office at 6 a.m., but on the way back, I picked up some of Becky’s favorite stuff from [Dunkin Donuts](http://www.dunkindonuts.com/) and brought it home as a first Mother’s Day gift for her. 🙂
Becky’s parents and brother came over to our apartment for a Mother’s Day lunch. We hung out, talked about a lot of baby stuff, and had some delicious food, including steak, corn on the cob, garlic fries from [Trader Joe’s](http://www.traderjoes.com/), and brownies. Yum! Ken bravely did the grilling outside in the rain, as seen below:
Here’s the mom-to-be and her mom!
There are also a few more photos from [the day](http://prwdot.org/gallery2/v/events/2006/mothers_day/).
Although I couldn’t spend Mother’s Day with my own mom, I did give her a call, and I also passed the phone around so that she could chat with the other moms in the room. 🙂 All in all it was a very good day!
Jeremy and Angela

Happy second anniversary to [Jeremy and Angela](http://www.thebiggspicture.org/)! We are very proud to have been there for the beginning, and we’re glad that we’ve been able to stay in touch and get together with them every now and then. I’m also glad that Jeremy is getting back into posting: he even wrote up a glowing [anniversary post](http://thebiggspicture.org/2006/03/06/milestones-and-miracles/)!
Cheers!
