Symphony

We had a cold, but fun filled adventure with friends today as we traveled into the city to take in the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Great music, great company and a whole lot of fun!

Crash Course

I didn’t take a single photo today. What was I thinking?!? I did, however, take one video of Esme running down the trampoline track, crashing through a foam pyramid and falling into the foam pit. Fun times!

Entwined

A little someone wriggled her way into our bed this evening. Big promises were made that she would “fall asleep fast, if I can sleep with you, Mama!”

She snuggled down in, made herself comfortable…

…and proceeded to fake sleep for a good twenty minutes.

With a disposition as sweet as hers, though, it was hard to mind!

Hello lovely reader chums!

We all know her as Chummy from Call the Midwife, but I love her as the highly relatable Miranda in her self-titled sitcom. And she is providing my between-shoveling reading entertainment.

The book is on loan a friend who gave it to me before church on Sunday. It was crazy hard not to tuck it inside the Bible and start it right away!

If you haven’t seen Miranda, check it out on Hulu. Miranda Hart is so much more than a tall, aristocratic born midwife!

Sunrise

It never occurred to me to check the Sunday hours at the Y, which is how I found myself with twenty two minutes to kill before 7am this morning.

I decided to take a quick spin around town to pass the time. My earlier oversight was rewarded with this beautiful view of the Friendship and Salem harbor.
