  1. Glad you’re having a good time. I trust no altitude sickness for anyone!

  2. What did you think of the Cave of the Winds? When w were there a few years ago, we decided that the price wasn’t really worth the price of admission, so we skipped it (we did elect to see the Manitou Cliff Dwellings, however, and those were pretty cool).

  4. Chad: I think it’s worth it if you haven’t been inside caves before, and the narration is pretty cool. Both Becky and I had already been through a similar cave tour, so I don’t think it was worth quite as much as we paid for it. Becky actually ended up leaving the tour early because Catherine started crying, and the tour guide escorted her out (they have a clearly posted policy that crying babies will need to be taken out of the tour). We did get a refund for her ticket.

As for the cliff dwellings, those didn’t look as interesting to me. We also read that they weren’t originally in Manitou Springs – they were located several hundred miles away, disassembled, and moved to Manitou as a tourist attraction. So that made them less appealing in our minds.

We have seen lots of other cool stuff, though, and we still have several more days left. :-)
