Let’s go Celtics! Clap, Clap. Clap-clap-clap!
Guest photographer today: Papa
Peter took this incredible photo of Catherine. I took a few mediocre photos today and, quite honestly, none of them were worth putting here. I would like to think that this is the picture I would have taken, had I come across this scene myself. She finally has no trouble falling asleep thanks to her brand new memory foam mattress that I got her from leesa.com. I honestly wish I would have bought myself one too because it is so comfy. Whenever I lay her down to sleep, I want to just stay there with her and sleep.

We had the wonderful pleasure of attending the grand opening of the Serendipity Cafe in Maynard, Ma today.
{Above, please see Esme totally enjoying my “Appley Laura” smoothie.}
My dear, dear childhood friend Laura, and her husband Johnny, are taking their dreams by the horn and have taken their bakery business out of their home kitchen and into downtown Maynard. I couldn’t be more proud of them or more happy for them!
{If you want to read more about their venture, here’s a great article.}
We loved our food and drink, the cafe was beautiful and I imagine we might be needing to find more and more reasons to find ourselves ‘in the neighborhood’ in the future!

Reasons I loved Esme’s Halloween:
*She totally got into putting her costumes together.
*She was awesomely brave, even at the scariest houses.
*She had such enthusiasm handing out candy and helping with our Trunk or Treat game.
*She skipped from house to house with joy.
Reasons I loved Catherine’s Halloween:
*She committed to the cowboy boots, despite them being a)too big, b)high heeled and c)uncomfortable.
*She popped into our room when she heard the fireworks and really appreciated them (and appreciated that she got to watch them while Esme was sleeping).
*She absolutely owned her emotions while trick or treating- House too scary? No big deal, she just stayed on the sidewalk and didn’t mind foregoing the candy.
