Solo week

This morning, Rebecca and Catherine headed out on a road trip to Ohio to visit my family, and help Mark and Kirsten with preparations for their upcoming departure for the mission field. I would have come, too, except I’m already taking a week off of work in May, and I didn’t want to take two weeks of vacation in two consecutive months. It will be sad not to see them for a week, but I hope to get a lot of things done that I might not do otherwise (e.g. get lots of sleep).

I’ve uploaded a few photos from their departure. I talked to Rebecca about an hour ago, and they were closing in on Buffalo, NY, where they’ll be staying with some friends for the evening before heading out to Mount Vernon tomorrow morning.

My prayers are with them for safe travel and much fun!
