Books

For one week of the year the girls and I spend a large amount of time setting out and organizing the used book table for our church fair.

This year our books got a new home. A few men a the church have renovated an old room and brought it back to life. This year the book sale is lighter and brighter and roomier than ever!

Cats in Sweaters

Our church helps to support a missionary family living in Equatorial Guinea, in Africa. We are all working together send them a care package for Christmas, with most of their ‘wish list’ focusing on their three young boys’ needs.

One of the listed items was “small bits of yarn”. When I saw that, I knew that we were destined to fulfill it.

Thanks to my yarn scrap bag, two eager helpers and the wonderful spoils of the internet, these sweet cats came about. As Peter said later, “If you’re going to send bits of yarn, you might as well make them cute.” I do agree.
