Salem was busier today than I’ve ever seen it. I don’t know if it broke any records, but it was a bustling, buzzing, exciting place to be!

Cho Chang, Hermione Granger and Minerva McGonagall hanging out in the Great Hall during a homeschoolers Trunk or Treat. I’m exhausted, but we had a ton of fun so it was worth it! Wizards, witches and muggles alike came and were sorted into their Hogwarts houses- everyone’s favorite part of the start of term feast!
Wands and textbooks were the order of the day. We just can’t get enough of costume making!

We went into Savers to find a robe to go with Esme’s Hermione Granger costume. We came out with all the parts of the costume that we didn’t need and no robe.
But that smile, though!
We spent September scouring maps on our travels. But they’re just as fun at home when we head out on our weekly hike with friends.
Every once and a while we stumble across a children’s church lesson that gets a great reaction! The kids loved Peter’s carving skills!
I’m just a little in love with the new (?) bathroom door down on Artist’s Row. Especially the chalkboard calendar. So clever and a great and informative use of space!
