We went into Savers to find a robe to go with Esme’s Hermione Granger costume. We came out with all the parts of the costume that we didn’t need and no robe.

But that smile, though!

We spent September scouring maps on our travels. But they’re just as fun at home when we head out on our weekly hike with friends.

Every once and a while we stumble across a children’s church lesson that gets a great reaction! The kids loved Peter’s carving skills!

I’m just a little in love with the new (?) bathroom door down on Artist’s Row. Especially the chalkboard calendar. So clever and a great and informative use of space!

Not all cheap toys are created the same. Some are just way more awesome.

We played chicken with the weather today and lost. But it was not all for naught- we had a wet and lovely time in the rain with friends. The kids (and moms!) were so happy to be back together!

This whole chairful+ of bags came from the backseat of our dear old Volvo. They contain the traveling goods and collections of the girls. I think every square inch of that back seat was full of something, girl or otherwise!

I count myself lucky that I only had to ask and both girls cleared, bagged and unpacked the whole lot of it without my help!
