I periodically staff this little ceramics shop downtown. This afternoon I worked and the girls came with me. They were enthusiastic, then bored, then helpful, then independent and adventurous, and then back to bored again. It was a great experience for them, both the learning about how shops are run and practicing how to manage your own boredom!

After such a lovely afternoon yesterday the girls were begging for another day at the park. Luckily, some friends joined us and the frog and tadpole hunting could continue in earnest. What a day!

If I could order up the weather I would ask for days like today 90% of the time. It was a perfect day to hang at the park with friends.

While the girls were out with their grandparents today, I enjoyed a lovely afternoon with Anne and Matthew and Marilla.

Esme performed five numbers in her recital today. But first, lipstick.

Esme has been waiting for this touch screen ordering system to be up and running for a while now, we have been loving the home automation installers lately as well, technology is just amazing. What an exciting day to find it ready for use today. The employee was impressed with her instant agility, needing no help to place her order. It was interesting to see which customers were quick to learn, which needed help and which refused to use it at all.
