Winter Beaching
Spent a very enjoyable late afternoon at the beach with my firstborn. She was so funny standing on that little rock as the tide came in and covered her “escape route”. She said to me, “Huh. I think I should have considered how I was going to get back…”

Victoria’s Ice
It’s said that ice from Wenham Lake in the 1800’s was so clear that you could read the newspaper through a big block of it. Catherine is impressed. “Look at how clear it is, how pure! I’m not surprised that the Queen wanted it!”

Me too, John. And I’m so glad to have the opportunity to share it with my kids. I honestly can’t decide which is better, the skiing or watching the girls have a great day of skiing with their friends. My heart is full of sun and snow and friendship.
