Nonni and Grandpa leave tomorrow for a while, so how better to say good bye than an after dinner volcano eruption.

Esme and Z worked hard on their nature collage. Apparently, if you look closely, you’ll see baby Moses in his basket, floating down river.

It was another great day for skiing! So glad to have friends to share the fun with. The girls’ confidence and skills are improving and they are loving it!

We discovered today that her cozy black blanket can also double as an invisibility cloak. Score! Soon enough she’ll be off to Honeydukes for some Chococlate Frogs and the Three Broomsticks for a pint of Butterbeer.

The month of December, somehow, seemed shorter than advertised. And, thus, Esme received a big ball of yarn under the tree instead of something hand knit. The upswing is that she got to help in the choosing of the pattern and project and I get to knit it in January without the busyness of Christmas looming over me.

I took advantage of the warm weather this afternoon and took a long walk at the beach while Esme was at dance. I was treated not only to a beautiful sunset over Boston, but also this lovely moonrise over Swampscott.
