Any Ideas?

Howdy, Loyal Readers!

Peter and I have been toying with the idea of redesigning this here website. It’s not that we think there’s anything wrong with how it is now, it just feels like it might be time for a change.

We are looking to you for suggestions. What do you like about World Wide Wood? What don’t you like? Is there anything that you’d like to find here? Do you visit any of our links? Would you like us to add different links? Do you like the red?

Okay, I think you get the idea. Drop us an email or leave a comment and let us know what you think. And be standing by for the new and improved World Wide Wood.

I’ve personally always found the black-on-brick for the links to be a bit annoying and hard to read.

I also think the new look should have something to do with a monkey. Or a lemur.

I had originally wanted to put grey behind the black links just like it is on the rest of the page, but it seemed like a bit too much grey overall. I know it’s hard to read. Can you suggest a better color?

    Peuce.
    No.
Umm…. Perhaps opting for a lighter color instead of the brick for a background…. Not really sure. Or perhaps you could set up your style sheet so your links themselves in the sidebar are grey.

I love the shade of red that you have. And the photo is super cute too. 🙂

Maybe try some more colours though, something instead of the grey and black? Maybe a white background with black text and Red titles/links or something like that perhaps?

I visit some of the “friends” links every once in awhile. And the photo gallery.

I love the pic, but I think it’s time for a new one. I like the red, too, but again, maybe something new would be good. How about blue? or green? Or something other than grey with red. And I agree with Will that the black-print-on-red is very hard to read. The only links I ever use on your site are the pictures and blog links. 🙂
