I have loved the discipline of this project. I have enjoyed taking the photos and sharing some thoughts. Choosing a daily photo gave me new insight into our days and often gave me the chance to look at moments and experiences through the lens of a post or through the eyes of a blog reader.

I have been flattered by those of you who have commented and ‘liked’ my photos and posts. I am humbled by those who have mentioned that my words struck a chord with you. I hope our conversations can continue into this coming year!

If you are so inclined, you can see all the photos in one big gallery here.

You can also see all of the 365 blog posts by starting here and then clicking the right hand scroll link at the bottom of each post to move through the days.

Have a favorite picture from our year? Or a favorite post? I’d love to know about it. Maybe leave a comment?

I loved your blog Becky, especially all the things that you and the girls do together. I’m constantly thinking about how we want to raise our son in a world that I don’t always love (too much technology, too fast paced, and does ANYONE stop to read a darn book anymore?!) so I’m inspired by your family and encouraged that we can still lead a simple, fun, family-centered life. I don’t think my favorite picture was even part of this group, it might have been from a few years ago, it was the girls hanging laundry out on a little clothesline you’d made to be just their height- I loved that you did that 🙂

Happy New Year! ~Love Erin (who always uses her mom’s FB 🙂

I have so enjoyed following your blog all year! Your photos and words are always inspirational, and I have found myself thinking through my own days in much the same lens. I hope you won’t mind if I attempt the same thing for 2014. I don’t think mine will be half as good but i hope to have a nice collection of days for family posterity at the end of it, and as you said, the discipline of blogging everyday is something I want to work on. Can I credit/link to your blog on mine? Thanks for sharing your days and your family with us all!
Oh, and I think my favorite might be Esme stepping on the clothes in the washing machine 🙂

Susan, Yes, go ahead and document your own year! It’s dangerous to compare to mine, I’m sure your’s will be special in its own way. And what a perfect year to do it, your first with three sweet kiddos!

Feel free to link to mine and I look forward to seeing life in your neck of the woods!
