Even though they’re driving to Ohio, I thought I’d share this photo of Rebecca giving Catherine a ride on a Momma-plane:
Solo week
This morning, Rebecca and Catherine headed out on a road trip to Ohio to visit my family, and help Mark and Kirsten with packing for their upcoming move. I would have come, too, except I’m already taking a week off of work in May, and I didn’t want to take two weeks of vacation in two consecutive months. It will be sad not to see them for a week, but I hope to get a lot of things done that I might not do otherwise (e.g. get lots of sleep).
I’ve uploaded a few photos from their departure. I talked to Rebecca about an hour ago, and they were closing in on Buffalo, NY, where they’ll be staying with some friends for the evening before heading out to Mount Vernon tomorrow morning.
My prayers are with them for safe travel and much fun!
Jeremy and Angela
Yesterday, we drove up to Claremont, NH to visit our friends Jeremy and Angela. We got to see the renovations they’ve made to their house so far, and also talked about the upcoming house projects they have (which you can read about at their website). We got to check out the HTPC that Jeremy built, played some Wii, and enjoyed some cooking and baking from Angela (awesome “everything” cookies and lime chicken).
Catherine also had a ball driving the cats crazy and testing the babyproofness of their house. Cats are certainly creatures of habit. Even more so when it comes to food. If you’re fed up with your cat waking you up the small hours of the morning a timed feeder might be just what you need. These dispense food at a pre-programmed time and in a set amount and should keep your cat out of your bedroom until a much more reasonable time. 🙂
You can see the rest of the photos from the day here.
Easter 2008
This past weekend, we were out visiting the Lowes in Townsend for Easter! We had a great time visiting with Nonni, Grandpa, Corey, and Vicky. We went to church at the TCCUCC and had Easter dinner at the 1761 Old Mill in Westminster (which is incidentally where my parents had dinner when they got engaged!).
I thought you might enjoy some good old fashioned gratuitous Catherine pics! You can see the rest of the pics from this weekend here.
Thirty Days In Review
So that’s a wrap. My thirty days of photography are over. I’m packing up my camera and never taking a picture ever again.
Riiiight.
In all seriousness, my Thirty Days project, inspired by SouleMama‘s 30 Days of the Everyday, has been a terrific experience. I’d like to talk about some of the things that I’ve learned over the past thirty days.
